ERFC Short Term Plan

The goals listed in the attached short term plan were developed by the ERFC Board of Directors to direct the path of our future operations. This short term plan was sent to our members on February 4, 2009. We invite all members to review these goals and provide us with your comments and/or suggestions. Why is the ERFC located downtown?
A. The present location was selected for two reasons: (1) support the continued development of the downtown area and (2) financial. In keeping with the mission statement, we wanted to support the goal of the city, the Idaho Falls Downtown Development Corp, and the downtown merchants to make downtown a vibrant place to shop, dine, and spend time. We’re supporting the idea of downtown being a regional center for commercial, cultural, and leisure activities. From a financial standpoint, the rent offered to us by our present landlords for this particular space was one-fourth to one-third that of any other space that was available at the time; including locations elsewhere in Idaho Falls. Parking is limited downtown. Where can I park while shopping at the ERFC?
A. If you can't find a parking spot on the downtown streets, free parking is available on the east side of Yellowstone Highway. Also, the ERFC can validate parking for the parking lot behind the Idaho Youth Ranch Thrift Store (located at the corner of A Street and the west side of Yellowstone Highway). Posted 2/21/09
